Seed Potatoes, Charlotte

The Charlotte potato is a high yielding variety with a good, almost chestnutty flavour. It has a yellow skin and creamy yellow flesh which remains firm after boiling. Charlotte does well in most soils and has hardy natural resistance to scab and blight. It can be stored well, maintaining freshness and flavour. Plant these Autumn potatoes as soon as possible after purchase, for cropping of new potatoes from November onwards.
