The Story
Hosta sieboldiana var. Elegans, also known as the Giant Blue Hosta, is notable for its giant, sculptural leaves of puckered blue/grey foliage which reach up to 20-30cm in length. From July – August, spikes of pale lilac bell shaped flowers are held aloft, and, after flowering, the seed pods split into tiny star shaped segments.
