The Story
One of the largest hostas, Hosta ‘Sum and Substance’, bears a mound of yellow green leaves, up to 50cm in length. It has also been reported as less susceptible to slugs and snails than other hostas, due to its long stems and tough leaves. Bell shaped pale mauve flowers are held on tall stems in late summer, adding to its appeal. Supplied in biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex.
